Sweetie

sweetie1sweetie2Hi Joy, thought you might enjoy these picture of Sweetie (and Wylie)!  Sweetie absolutely loved winter and playing in the snow.  She’s doing really well and she plays with Wylie all the time.  She’s a good one for wet kisses in the morning!

Hope you and your dogs are well. All the best!

Elbee

Elbee_9.10.10 006Hi Buff and Joy,

I just wanted to drop a hello and let you know that Elbee (the lil black lab mix) is doing GREAT!  She has adjusted well to the city life and is soooo smart.  In the last month, she has learned to sit, paw, lay down and is pretty much completely potty-trained!  She is such a lover and just wants to please us 🙂

Thank you for bringing her into my life and I am so happy to have her!  Here are some pictures of her – she is growing quickly.

All my best,

Kelle Adams

Cotton (Ollie)

photoIt’s been a year since I got Ollie from you. He gained 6 lbs. He was
10 pounds when I got him. He is still timid with men but he is a
different dog. He has brought me great joy and is full of himself
with me.  I named him Ollie luya. A play on alleluja.  I will send a
few more pics. I hope you are still strong in your mission and
continue ur work. If you need a trasporter let me know. I wish you
much joy.

Kiwi

kiwiDear Joy and others at the shelter,

Thank you for helping me find my new home!  My new family thinks I am great and tell me I am a good dog.  I am getting used to the new name they gave me and now I am called Kiwi…cause they have red fur on the outside.  I have a new sister (Jazz the Wheaton Terrier) and a brother (Jimmy the cat) and I really like them both.  Jazz and I go on walks with everyone in the family and it is really nice.  I learned some new things like how to walk up the stairs, that it is OK to go wherever I want in my new house, and kissing a cat gets you hissed at.  I just thought you would want to know how I was doing.

Kiwi the Golden Dog!

P.S.  in my picture I am smiling!

Ryleigh (Dolly)

dollyHi Joy,
I’ve attached a few photos of Ryleigh (Dolly). As you can see, she is doing great! She is the most lovable, sweet dog that we have ever had. She has adapted amazingly into our family and I can’t believe we have only had her 3 months……..seems like forever.
Enjoy the photos.

Buster

This was Buster who was used as a bait dog.  Pilots for paws took him to Florida.

I just wanted to touch base with you two about our newest and dearest family member. He is doing GREAT. He is eating regularly now. (thank goodness) He is the most loving thing we have ever meet. We got him some toys and he has his favorite that he carries around with him. He is so full of kisses and love in the morning. He climbs at the foot of my daughters bed everynight and helps wake up my granddaughter in the morning for school by sitting beside at the side of her bed kissing her until she wakes up. Thank you two for all that you do. We thank the good Lord that there are people like you out there because we think it would have been a shame for Buster not to be a part of this world. What a kind soul.
