Addison

addison1addison2Hi Joy,

We wanted to share some pictures of Addison that were taken the first night she stayed with us. We are really enjoying getting to know her and having her in our family. She seems really happy here too.  Thank you so much for all you do to help dogs in need. We wish we could adopt them all!

Lucy

Joy,

We are already very fond of Ms Lucy!

The two dogs know sort of opposite things – Lucy knows come, Georgia knows sit. Ms. Georgia is thrilled and just loves to play. We are really insistent that they play together with a toy between them, but Lucy loves to run around with a stuffie in her mouth and is happy to oblige. Georgia helped me distract Lucy from being concerned while I trimmed the hair away from her little scraped legs and put so antibacterials on them. They are so deeply gentle and sweet together even when playing pretty rough.

Lucy is very confident and springy and just loves to snuggle. Lucy put her front paws up on the jump seat of my truck and occasionally gave an ear lick – needless to say we love her already.    She is very dear.

Your work brings us so very much pleasure!   -k

Nia

This is one of the puppy mill rescues that was so matted we had to rush her to the vet to be shaved down.  She couldn’t even walk.

niaHere is a photo of Nia already at play and grateful to her new mom, Pam.  Thank you, Joy.  You’re the best!

Stitch

Joy,

Stitch has been with us in his new home for a week now and I wanted to drop you a line to let you know how he’s doing.

He has got to be the best dog on earth! He’s so friendly and well behaved. Every time we take him out anywhere people are just taken in by his big “puppy dog” eyes. He seems to be as happy with us as we are with him. He and my daughter are virtually inseparable. She is definitely not looking forward to going back to school and having to leave him at home 🙁

Thank you so much for what you do for these animals. I hate that we missed getting to meet you last weekend.

Thank you again

Dawn H.

Bitsy

bitsyI remembered that you like to know how the dogs are doing here are a few pics of bitsy he has adjusted very well it took a little while but he loves to go for walks. He thinks he’s king of the house and loves to sleep either under our pillows (we haven’t quite figured that out) our curled up with one of his brothers.

Thankyou,

Lisa

Maxwell

maxwellMaxwell has fit into our family so easily it is like he was waiting for us. Thank you for taking care of hime until we could find him. He is a sweet, loving and well behaved dog. He likes the groomer, the vet, and evey dog  and person he happens to meet. I didn’t even know he could bark until after a few days. God bless you for all your work that you do. Thank you for making us smile.
